In Finland we have the legendary Lake Päijänne race which I won last year.
We have almost one hour of night special tests at this race. So during the winter season I need to practice a lot in the dark to get well prepared for this race. Decent helmet lights are playing big role when we are talking about safety and fastest possible test times.
It's really important to have the best helmet lights available on market. LEDX COBRA 6500 is my choice because of its lightweight, strong white light and long durability battery. On top of that LEDX provides easy and simple helmet fitting.

My LEDX lights lit my way to victory in the famous enduro race Novemberkåsan 2017 and 2018!
I am really happy with my Cobra 6500. What I particularly like about LEDX compared to Xenon is the light scattering, the weight and the flexibility with cables and batteries. I like the light scattering because it gives a wide and even light that becomes very comfortable to drive with. Low weight is an important aspect as you do not want to tire your neck and head under the already harsh conditions we drive in, for example. Novemberkåsan.
But something that I really like is the design and choice of materials. Everything is well thought out to suit most of the athletes in various sports. Swedish quality at its best!

I was given the opportunity to try the LEDX Cobra 6 500 when we tested lighting before Novemberkåsan 2017, the biggest enduro event in Sweden. We tested in different weather conditions and terrain and my experience is that the LEDX lights is much better than all the lights I used earlier.
Above all, the light image is better and give better peripheral light, and I saw the outlines in front of me much better. The lamp is also very easy to mount on both the helmet and the bike.
Another big advantage is that I can use the same lights for other training like running and cycling. As the Cobra 6 500 is unnecessarily bright when running on paths, I have also used Kaa 2 000 that is perfect for this. Even my service personnel use Kaa 2 000 in the depot when additional lighting is required at service stops.

In my training, the LEDX lamp is very important. Throughout the winter I can train in the evening, with just as good light as during the day due to LEDX lamps. That way I can keep the driving form optimal, while at the same time safeguarding to avoid crashes. With LEDX I get the advantage of seeing every little obstacle in the track, which everyone else loses in the dark. That way I can drive faster at the same time safer than most.
I use the lamp for everything, ski training, jogging, in the depot before and after the race, it lights up better than the car's lights, and is a lightweight, smooth spotlight that can be attached anywhere. In Africa, I used the lamp for transport in the morning, the only bike with really good light that ran with good safety in the dark.

In the past I have driven with xenon lights on the helmet and the bike, but they are very heavy and it's not very nice to have high voltage drivers right next to the body/head when driving where it often is wet.
When I first tested LEDX Cobra 6 500, I was really delighted when I got to see how good and lightweight the lamps were and most importantly, they have an incredible light. Absolutely the best light I've driven with, the Cobra is so bright and far-reaching with a very good light image that lets you see the contrasts in the mud incredibly well.
I have tested the lights in really tough conditions and when I drove Novemberkåsan in Uddevalla, where it was incredibly muddy and wet, but the LEDX lamps worked perfectly all the way to the finish line.
